This resource has been essential to my research. The local studies collection holds many parish registers on fiche for Peterborough and the surounding Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire counties. Also local papers on microfilm from 1854 to present, as well as directories & census returns on film.

This is another resource that I have used frequently - it holds a lot of data on the old county of Huntingdon including parish registers, wills etc. Original documents may be consulted in many cases.

This Family History Society has a large range of Parish Register transcripts on fiche avaiable for purchase - handy if you have a lot of relatives from the same parish but no easy access to the originals etc. Other publications and info available.

The family Records Centre holds the indexes to Births, Marriages and Deaths in England & Wales since 1837.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission
An excellent site that I have made considerable use of. It is possible to search the online database for service men that died in either of the world wars and details are provided on the place of burial/date of death. Service numbers are also given.
Family Search - IGI online
The International Genealogical Index online! makes searching much easier than looking through lots of fiche - all from the comfort of your home.

Cyndi's Genealogy Home Page Construction Kit This site contains tips, ideas and lots of links on how to create a Genealogy web page etc.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 Currently the best Web browser available for the PC - download it free from Microsoft using the link on the left. This site was designed for viewing with this browser.
